Conformance registry
Every organization independently verified against the requirements, with the tier awarded and the date it was checked. Anyone can look here — including a parent deciding where to leave their child.

Verification opens once the requirements have completed expert review. This page exists now, empty and dated, because a registry that appears at the same moment as its first entry cannot be audited backwards.
Why the entries are hash-chained
Each entry is chained to the one before it: the hash of an entry is computed from its own contents plus the hash of the previous entry. Change or remove any past entry and every hash after it stops matching.
This matters because the thing a registry is most tempted to do is quietly un-list an organization after something goes wrong. If that happens here, the chain breaks visibly and anyone who recorded an earlier head hash can prove it. We have deliberately built something we cannot silently edit.
The current head is published in machine-readable form at /assets/data/registry.json. Record it if you have reason to.
What verification involves
- You complete the free self-assessment and fix what it finds.
- You submit your written procedure and your training records.
- We examine the evidence listed against each requirement in the standard, including dialling the emergency number ourselves.
- We interview your named people, and — with consent and appropriate safeguards — some of the children in your care, because requirement G4 cannot be verified any other way.
- You receive the findings first, with time to correct them before anything is published.
- If you conform, you are listed here with your tier and the date. If you do not, nothing is published at all.
Verification lasts two years. A listing that has expired stays visible with its expiry date rather than disappearing — knowing that an organization was verified in 2027 and has not been since is useful information, and hiding it would not be.
